The collages shown in Pop Goes the Easel

The slideshow below contains screen grabs of the collages shown in the order they appear in Ken Russell’s 1962 documentary Pop Goes the Easel, commissioned by BBC Television for its Monitor series.
A note on the naming conventions used
Where the the name is known it has been taken from Pauline Boty: Pop Artist and Woman by Sue Tate.
Where locations of the works are unknown/presumed lost they have been termed Untitled, with in some cases a possible title also suggested. These are based firstly on Boty’s descriptions of the works in her interview with Ken Russel prior to the filming of Pop Goes the Easel and secondly through comparisons of the contents to the titles of works published in the catalogue for the AIA Gallery exhibition Blake, Boty, Porter, Reeve which took place as the programme was being filmed – eg “Untitled”: possibly “I Surrender Dear”
